Photography Workshop
A two-day photography workshop was organized at Dumna Nature Park and Balancing Rock at Madan Mahal in June 2013, and Renowned photographer Mr. Mukesh Patwa was invited as the resource person.
Importance of Self-employment
In December 2013, a one-day workshop on the importance of self-employment and entrepreneurship at Hawabagh Women’s College Jabalpur and an MOU was signed with the College’s entrepreneurship cell to provide support to the students for setting up new Industries. Under the guidance of our Vice President, Mr. Akhilesh Baluapuri (Retd Manager Finance AKVN), many innovative ideas were taken into consideration.
Paper Bag and Envelope Making Workshop
Many paper bag and envelope-making workshops were organized for women and adolescent girls at the office premises and a village, Umaria Chaubey in Panagarh Tahsil, in April and May 2014. The products made in these workshops were taken to the markets.
Legal Awareness Workshop
A two-day legal awareness workshop was conducted in November 2014 by the organization to educate women about their legal rights. Advocate Chanchal Bala Sharma was invited as the resource person and Sarpanch Mrs. Durga Dahia was the chief guest.
Entrepreneur Workshop
On the occasion of Women’s Day, a one-day workshop on entrepreneurship was conducted to popularize entrepreneurship in women and youth, in March 2015. Mrs. Jhuma Mukherjee [President PPF] and Mr. Akhilesh Baluapuri was the resource person for the workshop.
Jewelry Making Workshop
A two-day jewelry-making workshop was organized in May in the year 2015 for school drop-out girls & physically and mentally challenged girls. The aim was to provide them a platform and make them independent.
Adolescence Gynecological Problems
Health Awareness Workshop was organized on the occasion of International Breastfeeding week August 1st to 7th in the year 2015, at Govt College of Science & Home Science Autonomous. It was a one-day workshop for graduate & Post Graduate students of the Home Science and Nutrition stream. Dr. Sangeeta Shrivastava, a renowned gynecologist of the town was the resource person.
In September same year another workshop was organized to educate young girls and women about common diseases, health, and nutrition. The Guest Speaker. Associate Guest Speaker and Dr. Archana Shrivastava, Leading Gynecologist of the town.
Workshop on Social and National Issues
A one-day workshop on Goods and Service Tax was conducted in March 2018.
To create awareness and to educate women about their voting rights, a one-day workshop was organized in September 2018.
Workshop organized on awareness creation for schemes of National SC-ST Hub for SC/ST entrepreneurs in October 2018.
A one-day workshop was arranged for women from all walks of life for celebrating the “WORLD ORANGE DAY” action for violence against women, in November.
